People travel the world looking for their own paradise. I am lucky enough to be living ride in the middle of mine. We live on an 88 acre ranch, here in central Colorado. I have my horse, we have cows and chicken, and I get to take my dogs a four wheel run every morning.
Rainbow was my very first standard poodle. I had wanted one my entire life. My mom wouldn't let me have one when I was growing up. My ex husband would not let me have one. When I got divorced, I found a beautiful international champion sired standard poodle pupppy for sale and I bought her. I has having a difficult time dealing with emotions at the time of my divorce. My sister told me to take all my feelings, wrap them up in a rainbow and give them to God. I did exactly that and Rainbow got her name to remind me that I could find happiness in myself through God and not have to rely on someone else. Rainbow has now paseed on but my love for Standard Poodles continues and I can never imagine myself without one.
